“Tonight Show”: Bradley Cooper's Epic Air Guitar Solo

Bradley Cooper is best known for his onscreen work in major hits like “The Hangeover” and the critically acclaimed “Silver Linings Playbook.” What the “American Sniper” actor doesn’t get enough acclaim for is his mastery of the air guitar chords.

People magazine’s “Sexiest Man Alive” turned 40 on Monday with a stop on “The Tonight Show,” and chatted with host Jimmy Fallon about his many talents.

The actor is currently appearing on Broadway in “The Elephant Man,” on the big screen in “American Sniper,” and has five producer credits to his name.

"You also have a little musical talent," said Fallon.

"I'm glad you said that because it's very little," Cooper agreed. "I play air guitar.”

Bradley revealed that when he was a kid he learned to master an entire air guitar routine to Neil Young’s “Down by the River,” a skill which he called "meaningless."

“Could you give us a little taste,” asked Fallon.

"I'd love to give you a little taste," laughed Cooper, before warning "It's long!"

Donning a curly red wig that Fallon gave him as a birthday gift in memory of his last appearance on the show, Cooper begins to strum his air guitar chords while sitting down.

“Can I get up?” the actor asked the host.

Feeling the vibe, the “American Sniper” actor rose to his feet and moved towards the band while riffing his way through every single note of the classic guitar solo. The imaginary rock star then made his way into the cheering crowd before “bringing down the house.”
