Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt Will Costar in Jolie-Penned Drama “By the Sea”

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are set to reunite on the big screen for the first time since 2004's "Mr. and Mrs. Smith," this time costarring in the character-driven drama "By the Sea," Universal Pictures announced Friday.

Jolie wrote the script and will direct the film, to be produced by Pitt.

No word on whether there are parts for the kids to make it a full-on family affair, but mom and dad are good for starters.

"I am very happy to continue my relationship with [Universal Pictures chair Donna Langley] and the entire Universal team as I finish Unbroken and begin work on 'By The Sea,'" Jolie said in a statement. "They have created a very special place for storytellers, and I look forward to the continued passion and support they have provided to me as a filmmaker."
