‘Brady Bunch' Star's Memoirs May Be Made Into a Movie

Maureen McCormick’s life story may make its way to the silver screen, the former “Brady Bunch” star confirmed to Access Hollywood.

The star, who played Marsha Brady in the long-running TV show, released her new tell-all book, “Here’s the Story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice,” earlier this month, and she says she has already been approached to bring her memoirs to the movies.

While no deal is in place, it’s likely it will happen, she told Access, hoping that Christine Taylor – who portrayed her in 1995’s “The Brady Bunch Movie” – or “an unknown” could play the lead.

She said she would not want to be in the movie.

“Here’s the Story” narrates her battles with drug addiction and depression, which she detailed in a recent interview with Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush.

“I was so addicted to cocaine,” Maureen told Billy. “I was so addicted to it, it nearly destroyed me.”

She also discussed her romantic life, including dates with Steve Martin and a young Michael Jackson.
