Family Calls for a Priest to Visit Zsa Zsa Gabor

Latest surgery for Zsa Zsa leaves her in "very serious condition"

Zsa Zsa Gabor is in "very serious condition" and her family asked for a priest to visit her in Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center early Sunday morning, according to Gabor's lontime publicist John Blanchette.

"It's a very difficult time for her family and for us," said Blanchette.

On Saturday, Gabor spent her 24th wedding anniversary at the medical center with her husband Frederic Prinz von Anhalt at her side. The 93-year-old celebrity was recovering from her Friday surgery to remove two blood clots.

"There were actually two clots. One was very close to the heart, so we're lucky they caught it in time," said Blanchette. "They put two stents into the artery. The operation was a success."

Gabor fell out of bed and broke her hip at her Bel Air home July 17, underwent hip replacement surgery and, after some ups and downs, was released Wednesday, August 11. After being released, she developed blood clots and was rushed back to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center on Friday, August 13.
