Redmond O'Neal has been moved from the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in LA to the Pitchess Detention Center in Castaic, Calif., Access Hollywood has learned.
The 24-year-old son of Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O'Neal will now begin his lockdown drug treatment for a January 2008 drug arrest and a probation violation in September 2008. He had previously been released on probation and ordered to attend a drug diversion program for these two charges.

If Redmond is successful with his treatment, he could be moved to a to a live-in facility rehab program after just a few months. The Castaic location is still a jail and not a live-in rehab center. He will still be allowed visitors.
In a separate third case, Redmond is due back in court on Friday to face charges stemming from his arrest on April 5 on suspicion of taking heroin into an LA-area jail facility, which he plead not guilty for on April 29.
