A Los Angeles judge has extended Nicole Richie’s probation until March to give the reality star more time to complete alcohol education classes, The Associated Press reported.
The 28-year-old former “Simple Life” star, on probation from a 2006 DUI, reportedly did not appear in court on Tuesday.
According to Us Weekly, Richie’s lawyer told the mom of two had been granted a court-approved leave of absence from alcohol classes while raising her children, Harlow, 2, and Sparrow, 9 months.
Back in December 2006, Richie was busted for driving the wrong way on a Los Angeles freeway and pleaded guilty to driving under influence. She reportedly served 82 minutes behind bars for the offence.
Richie is engaged to rocker Joel Madden.
