Nicole Richie's Probation Ends Months Early: Reports

Nicole Richie is in the clear.

A judged Wednesday ended the newlywed reality star and clothing designer’s 18-month probation with about three months to spare, TMZ and E! News reported.

The ex-“Simple Life” star’s probation stemmed from a Dec. 2006 DUI, back when Richie was busted for driving the wrong way on a Los Angeles freeway. She went on to serve just 82 minutes behind bars over the incident.

In June, a judge extended Richie’s probation by a year to give the mom of two -- Harlow, 2, and Sparrow, 1 -- more time to complete alcohol treatment classes.

Richie’s lawyer showed the judge Wednesday proof that her client had completed the terms of her probation and presented a “glowing report” from the alcohol education program Richie was enrolled in, TMZ reported.

Earlier this month, Richie wed rocker Joel Madden, the father of her children.
