Kim on Kanye: “You Never Know”

In a "Today" show interview, she also decried speculation that her marriage to Kris Humphries was a publicity stunt

All the talk of Kim Kardashian before her "Today" show interview Friday was about rumors she's dating Kanye West — and she didn't do anything to quell that talk during her interview.

"Kanye and I have been friends for years. And you never know what the future holds or where my life will take me, so…" the reality TV queen told Ann Curry.

"I like the song!" she added of Kanye's new song "Theraflu," which helped kick off the rumors with its line "I admit I fell in love with Kim."

People reported Thursday, citing a source, that the pair had begun dating but were keeping the relationship "light."

Kim also talked to "Today" about her ongoing divorce from NBA player Kris Humphries after a 72-day marriage and lavish televised wedding that many speculated were a sham and publicity stunt.

"Why would I marry someone? What, for ratings? I didn't need that. Our show does amazing with or without the wedding," she said of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians."

"I followed my heart," she said. Asked if she expected to spend her life with Humphries, she said, "Absolutely."

The ubiquitous star said she occasionally rues her lack of privacy but said it's worth the success.

"This whole experience has changed me for the better, and I have no regrets," she said. "We made this decision as a family that we're gonna be an open book."

Kim also insisted that she doesn't check out the chatter about her online and doesn't read gossip magazines.

A few months ago, photographs suggested she had Google alerts set for her own name, to alert her to news about herself. But last month she told Ryan Seacrest's radio show she had taken those alerts off her phone.
