Guess A-Rod has a thing for the blondes -- first Madonna, now Kate.
Steroid-aided Yankee slugger Alex Rodriguez and actress Kate Hudson are officially a couple, a source close to the two dished Wednesday.
"It's somewhat serious," the source told People magazine of the couple, who have been spotted together several times since they met in November after A-Rod was spied hanging out with Madonna.
Rodriguez has also gotten close enough to Hudson to bring her around his crew, the source said -- Hudson has gotten to know the Yankee's buddies.
"He introduced her to a bunch of his friends," the source said.
Hudson was also seen cheering A-Rod on at a Texas Rangers game Tuesday night, where she watched her man's Yankees trounce the Rangers 12-3.
She joined Rodriguez for another Rangers game in Dallas last month, where she brought son Ryder, 5, and stayed with Rodriguez in a local hotel, Us magazine reported.
Goldie Hawn's daughter is known for her short-lived flings -- she divorced ex-hubby Chris Robinson of the Black Crowes several years ago and was briefly linked to actor Owen Wilson and bicyclist Lance Armstrong before her tryst with A-Rod.
Rodriguez and wife Cynthia split in 2008 amid rumors Rodriguez had begun a fling with Material Girl Madonna, just after the birth of their second daughter. Cynthia reportedly dated Lenny Kravitz briefly after the split.
