Mom: Chris Brown Not Looking To Replace Management Team

Chris Brown is not looking to change his management team, despite reports to the contrary, according to the singer's mother.

"Reports that Chris is looking to replace his team, including [lawyer] Mark Geragos, [co-manager] Tina Davis and [publicist] Mike Sitrick, are false," Chris' mom and co-manager, Joyce Hawkins, said in a statement to Access Hollywood. "There are only two people who could make a change at that level on Chris' behalf: his business attorney Kenny Meiselas and me — and neither of us were the source of this information."

Brown has been charged with two felonies in the wake of his alleged attack on Rihanna on February 8. And while he attempts to put the focus back on his career, heading to the recording studio recently, including several sessions with Rihanna, his mother said the singer and his family are happy with the team in place.

"So there is no room for doubt or misunderstanding, let me state unequivocally, that no change is planned or being made with respect to Mark Geragos, Tina Davis or Mike Sitrick," Hawkins added. "We are very pleased with the work they are doing."

Brown is due back in court on April 6 following the postponement of his arraignment on March 5.

As reported earlier in the day on Thursday by AccessHollywood.com, Brown's attorney, Mark Geragos, has requested a hearing on March 23 to reportedly discuss Rihanna's possible testimony against Brown.
