Kelly Osbourne Calls John Lydon “Bitter Old Queen”

Ozzy's daughter defends her dad against ex-Sex Pistol

Something is Rotten in Birmingham.

Former Sex Pistol John Lydon - who performs under the stage name Johnny Rotten - recently unloaded on a Birmingham, England newspaper regarding his true feelings for fellow rocker Ozzy Osbourne.

He called the "Paranoid" singer a "senile delinquent" and suggested that Ozzy's life and career are simply "promoting drug abuse and catatonic stupidity."

Well, these words didn't sit well with Ozzy's daughter, Kelly, who quickly wrote a statement in defense of her father.

"Last week, John Lydon accused my dad of 'acting like a senile delinquent' and 'promoting drug abuse,'" says. "People only say things like this when they want attention, and guess what? He has a book to promote!"

Lydon is currently doing press in support of his new book, "Mr. Rotten's Scrap Book."

"The truth is, I don't think he's ever met my father," continues Osbourne. "So clearly he doesn't know that he hasn't done drugs in years. I feel that from one artist to another, there should be some form of mutual respect, and I also think it's sad when you resort to talking s--- about someone else in order to get yourself press."

"Stop being such a bitter old queen, John!  You're better than that."
