Glam Slam: Rachel Bilson's ‘Rose'

Actress Rachel Bilson is the latest stylish star to add fashion designer to her resume. She’s teamed up with DKNY Jeans to create an affordable capsule collection called Edie Rose.

“Everything is under $100 and I always say fashion doesn’t have to cost that much money, which is why I thought of it as a really good line to associate with and I just think that they are very relatable for young girls,” Rachel told Access.

Named after her grandmother and a close family friend, Rachel was inspired by her love of vintage clothes and menswear. Her favorite piece in the mostly black and white collection is a faux tux jacket.

“I like a basic palette, you know black and whites and then add a little pop of something,” the actress said.“That yellow color is what I was inspired by, so that’s why there’s yellow throughout the collection.”

Rachel gave us a sneak peak at the 15-piece collection and told us she was very hands-on when collaborating with the design team.

“It’s important to like what you come up with, I think. And it’s definitely a reflection of myself and favorite pieces and you know just represents my dream closet,” she added.
