Beyonce, Christina Aguilera & Miley Cyrus To Perform At American Music Awards

Beyonce, Christina Aguilera and Miley Cyrus have been lined up as performers for the American Music Awards, Access Hollywood has confirmed.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Jimmy Kimmel will host the 36th Annual AMA’s, which will also feature performances by Mariah Carey, Coldplay, Kanye West, the Jonas Brothers, Alicia Keys, Rihanna, Ne-Yo, New Kids on the Block, Pussycat Dolls, Taylor Swift, Pink, The Fray and Annie Lennox, who will receive the special “Award of Merit.”

Jordin Sparks, Scott Weiland and Billy Ray Cyrus will be awarding trophies at the ceremony.

The show will broadcast live from the Nokia Theatre LA LIVE on Sunday, November 23 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.

“I am so excited to be able to perform live for my fans at the American Music Awards and celebrate my Sweet 16 too,” Cyrus, who officially turns 16 on November 23, said in a statement.

Beyonce will also be in celebratory mood at the AMAs, as her performance falls just days after she debuts her latest album, “I Am… Sasha Fierce!”

“We are delighted to have Beyonce at the 2008 AMAs, she is truly a magnificent artist and we look forward to her performance, “ said AMA producer Larry Klein.

Music fans can currently vote for the T-Mobile “Breakthrough Artist” Award. The nominees for this special award are Colbie Caillat, Flo Rida, the Jonas Brothers, Paramore and The-Dream. T-Mobile customers can vote via text message (standard text-messaging rates apply) and non-T-Mobile customers can vote at ama.abc.com.
