Where to Eat and Drink During Capital Pride

The Capital Pride Parade begins at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, and celebrations go all weekend long

The Capital Pride parade brings an explosion of color, beads and revelers to Dupont Circle and Logan Circle on Saturday, celebrating D.C.'s vibrant LGBTQ+ community.

Many bars and restaurants on and near the parade route and beyond will be offering deals or donating part of their proceeds to charities that help LGTBQ+ individuals.

We've rounded up some of the best spots to grab a drink and bite during Pride — check out our list below.

Floriana
1602 17th St NW

Floriana is offering a Pride-themed punch. Food will be the same price. Most of the patio tables will be taken out for standing room and a bar outside. Look out for the cascading rainbow ribbons overseen by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Agora
1527 17th St NW

For eight years, Agora has hosted a patio party during the parade. Drink $6 wine and beer and $7 liquor shots, or celebrate with brunch from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Nazca Mochica
1633 P St NW

This Peruvian restaurant says that their specials change every year, but they are looking to offer specials including $5 drinks, $3 beers, $4 hot dogs and snacks for under $7.

Commissary
1443 P St NW

Miss United States Andromeda Peters and fellow Miss United States contestants will be signing autographs and head shots for Commissary’s first Beauty Kween Brunch Party. Kirsten Dunst’s classic film “Drop Dead Gorgeous” will be playing on a loop on their full wall projector.

Day Owl Rosé will be giving away complimentary tiaras to all guests during the parade. Drink glitter cocktails, large-format drinks and frosé all day and night.

Commissary is partnering with Tito’s and $1 of each Tito’s cocktail will go to the Transmasculine Society. If you're hungry, they’ll be featuring two bagel sandwiches served on Bethesda Bagels' rainbow-colored bread. There’s the Pridewich (rainbow bagel, American cheese, chicken sausage and spicy aioli) and the Unicorn Bagel (rainbow bagel with blueberry cream cheese and rainbow sprinkles).

JR's Bar
1519 17th St NW

Kick off Capital Pride Friday night with DJ Darryl starting at 9 p.m. On Saturday, doors open at 1 p.m. with music from DJ Phil and DJ Bernie. DJ Darryl returns Sunday at 1 p.m. for the final night of Pride.

$5 Smirnoff Pride Punch and $6 DC Brau Pride Pils with additional drink specials all weekend long.

Le Diplomate
1604 14th St NW

Cool off with rainbow cones from Le Diplomate’s curbside Glaces de Diplomate ice cream cart! The colorful Rainbow Cone is a creamy French-style glace made in house daily, covered in rainbow sprinkles.

All proceeds from the $5 cone will go to the Capital Pride Alliance.

The restaurant will extend the 14th Street patio from 4:30-7:30 p.m. and offer cocktail specials during the parade.

Logan Tavern
1423 P St NW

Logan Tavern will partner with Tito’s and $1 of each Tito’s cocktail will go to the Transmasculine Society.

Number Nine
1435 P St NW

Number Nine will be opening earlier than usual at 12 p.m. and keep the party going until 2:30 a.m. Free entry for people over the age of 21.

Nicoletta Italian Kitchen
901 4th St NW

The Pride Sundae dessert features rainbow colored cake bites, sweet chocolate sauce, with a smooth fior di latte vanilla soft-serve covered in rainbow sprinkles.

The $7 dessert is dine in only and will support The Trevor Project with 20% of the proceeds going to the organization.

Osteria Morini
301 Water Street SE

Pastry chef Tova Hillman and team offers a colorful five-layer cake made from a fine almond flour blend. The Rainbow Italian Almond Cake has layers that are separated by raspberry and apricot jam and coated in a silky dark chocolate glaze. The cake is for dine in only.

A portion of the $11 cake will go towards Casa Ruby.

The Pig
1320 14th St NW

The Pig will partner with Tito’s and $1 of each Tito’s cocktail will go to the Transmasculine Society.

Frenchy’s Naturel
1337 11th St NW

Frenchy’s Naturel is having a Unicorn Party with a cotton candy machine. Guests are encouraged to wear tutus. The restaurant will also be partnering with Tito’s and $1 of each Tito’s cocktail will go to the Transmasculine Society.

Etto

Etto will be doing a special Pride Parade menu that's yet-to-be announced.

Grillfish
1200 New Hampshire Ave NW

Grillfish will partner with Tito’s and $1 of each Tito’s cocktail will go to the Transmasculine Society.
