Serving Those Who Have Served: A Symposium on Hiring Veterans
The unemployment rate among veterans is nearly 13 percent, much higher than the national average. Help empower Northern Virginia businesses to end the cycle of unemployment among veterans.
The symposium, sponsored by the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce, will feature dual tracks:
- For businesses: to learn and share best practices in hiring veterans
- For veterans: to learn how to market their qualities effectively and transition successfully into the private sector.
