One of our most popular community events is back. NBC4’s first community shred of 2018 is scheduled for Saturday, March 24 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Northern Virginia Community College.
Shredding is the easiest way to prevent identity theft, so bring your old bank statements, bills, and other personal documents. There is a FOUR-box maximum per each personal car.
The SHRED will take place at Northern Virginia Community College and located at 8333 Little River Turnpike, Annandale, Virginia 22003. Map it here.
Your car MUST be in line on Lake Drive by 10:45 a.m., or service cannot be guaranteed. To ensure the safety of all participants and maintain traffic flow, you MUST remain in your vehicle at all times and will not be able to watch your papers being shredded. Not business vehicles are permitted.
To keep this event safe and secure, please do not bring batteries, flammables, combustibles, electronic equipment (hard drives), media materials (DVDs, CDs, tapes), binders, or hanging files.
