During summertime when school is out low-income children lose access to school breakfasts, lunches and afterschool snacks they receive during the school year. Seniors living on fixed incomes can also feel the impact of food insecurity. CroppMetcalfe is committed to making a difference by supporting the Stock the Shelves Summer Solstice Food Drive benefitting the Fauquier Community Food Bank and Thrift Store.
You can donate non-perishable items and drop off at any CroppMetcalfe location, or the Fauquier Community Food Bank and Thrift Store.
On Thursday June 20th from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., NBC4 and CroppMetcalfe will be on-site at the Food Bank in Warrenton, VA accepting food and monetary donations.
