Watch the Night Counts Down the New Year

We love big New Years celebrations in small towns and we especially like ones that are free and open to the public. The city of Falls Church is celebrating their 14th annual Watch the Night New Years event with a theme this year of "Big Night in the Little City".

It's located at the intersection of Broad St (Rt.7) and Washington St. (Rt. 29) on Dec. 31st. 7p.m. to Midnight.
Countdown to the New Year with the lowering of the historic star that first lit the Falls Church sky in 1948 (the year Falls Church became an independent city).
This free event features seven live bands, indoor and Outdoor venues, fire pits for warming
    and much more including...
