Vintage Virginia Wine and Food Festival: June 1-2

Food trucks and unlimited wine tastings at Vintage Virginia

A foodie's dream is slated to come true at the 32nd Annual Vintage Virginia Wine and Food Festival, coming up Saturday and Sunday,  June 1-2.

Top chefs and ever-popular food trucks will serve up an array of Virginia-inspired dishes, including jumbo crab ceviche and apple bread pudding. Festivalgoers can also enjoy wine tastings while listening to local musicians under a shaded 200-seat tent.

Located at the Bull Run Special Events Center in Centreville, Vintage Virginia’s motto is “Eat local, drink local.” And "drink local" you can -- nearly half of Virginia’s homegrown wineries will be on-site.

This year’s all-star chef lineup includes Roshni Mansukhani (Food Network's "Chopped"), Barbie Marshall and Michael Langdon ("Hell’s Kitchen") and Ronaldo Linares ("Chopped," "Chef Race").

Nearly 20 different gourmet food trucks will be on hand, including Capital Chicken and Waffles, Curbside Cupcakes, BBQ Bus DC, Big Cheese, and Captain Cookie and Milkman.

Kids can check out Becki the Balloon Lady, face painting, a caricature artist and moon bounces.

General admission tickets ($30) cover all-day samplings, a commemorative wine glass and admission to the Food & Wine 5 Star Chef Seminar Tent. Food trucking tasting tickets ($30) include a six-ticket sampler for four tapas and two desert servings. Other packages are offered at additional rates.
