A Food Truck Curbside Cookoff in Wheaton, Md.

Tired of not having the region's tastiest food trucks all in one spot? Saturday, Sept. 28's Curbside Cook Off in Maryland features 20 of them.

Be part of the traveling Food Truck Association's premier event series with the best traveling food vendors that Virginia, Maryland and D.C. have to offer during this monthly-during-decent-weather festival that features 20 food trucks, craft beer gardens and live music.

It's your chance to indulge in the region's best barbecue, desserts, crab cakes and burgers.

Six Flags America will be on site to sponsor contests like the "hottest staff" and "best hangover food." Also included? An interactive zombie game, because why not?

You can also enter to win 70 free lunches during a raffle.

Discounted craft beer tickets are available online before the event for $20 (10 tickets) to grant you access to the lengthy list of craft beers, including D.C. Brau Public Ale, Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA, Heavy Seas Loose Cannon and Magic Hat #9.
The event is located at the Wheaton City Center (Reedie Drive and Triangle Lane) in Wheaton, Md. on Saturday, Sept. 28 from noon to 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 and include 10 four-ounce beer tastings.

Can't make it? You have one more chance this year to attend a Curbside Cookoff after this: Oct. 26 at St. Elizabeth's East (1100 Alabama Ave. SE).
