All the Important Stuff: Chesapeake Crab and Beer Festival

Crabs and beer. That's what Maryland does. Add more beer, live music and arts and crafts, and you've got the Chesapeake Crab and Beer Festival, coming up Saturday.

The Inner Harbor in Baltimore (610 Light St.) will have 60,000 crabs covered in Old Bay seasoning and an all-you-can-taste beverage selection with 50+ beers, wines and spirits to choose from.

Two sessions (11 a.m.-3 p.m. and 5-9 p.m.) will both have live performances throughout from the Sauce Boss and the Sons of Pirates. A la carte crab options are also availble.

Tickets are limited; advance ticketing is available online ($59-$89). On-site ticket prices range between $70-$110. Designated driver tickets ($59 advance; $70 on-site) and kids' tickets ($29 advance; $40 on site) both offer unlimited crab tastings. Parking will be limited, but you can reserve a parking space for $3.

If the event sells out before you can get tickets, mark your calendar for Aug. 22, when the Chesapeake Crab and Beer Festival visits National Harbor.
