Party amongst the fermenters! Join Heavy Seas Brewery (4615 Hollins Ferry Road, Halethorpe, Md.) for their annual Chili and Cheese Fest this Saturday, Nov. 12, southwest of Baltimore.
The event runs from noon to 4 p.m., featuring 10 master chili makers from local restaurants, along with cheeses from around the world, live music from Dropping Sully, and plenty of beer to sample.
For $49, you'll get a five-ounce tasting glass for unlimited beer samples (last pour is at 3:50 p.m.), the chance to talk to the owner and brewers, and unlimited chili samples.
Multiple beer stations will be spread throughout for the beer samplings, and if you really want to go all out, there consider the build-your-own-chili-dog station.
Participating restaurants include Hard Times Café, Alewife Baltimore, Parfections and Eleven Course.
One-of-a-kind firkins are also being made for the event, featuring beers such as Heavy Seas Great'er Pumpkin Imperial Ale, Winter Storm Ale, Peg Leg Imperial Stout and many more.
