So! A Fredericksburg bar is attempting to beat the Guinness World Record for "Most People Wearing False Moustaches at Once."
What amazes us most is that they're trying to beat it. Which means this record actually exists already.
Moving on from our shock: If you want to complete for some bizarre reason, and yes, your reasons can only be bizarre, head to Bailey's Pub and Grille (1861 Carl D. Silver Parkway, Fredericksburg, Va.) on Saturday, Aug. 4.
Admission for the attempt is $10, which includes goodie bags that, yes, contain the requisite fake 'staches. Call 540-548-4105 to reserve yours.
The attempt is part of a weekend-long bash that includes outdoor parties on both Friday and Saturday nights. There's no cover for the parties.
Fredericksburg is about an hour south of downtown D.C.
