Paranormal Night Tours at Point Lookout Lighthouse

Brace yourself for goosebumps (or possibly just a few nervous laughs) during a tour of the most haunted lighthouse in America, Point Lookout Lighthouse

Scared yet?

No? Fine. Whatever.

Located in Point Lookout State Park (1175 Point Lookout Rd  Scotland, Md.), the lighthouse hosts paranormal night tours ($50) from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m., although ghost sightings are not guaranteed. (Shocked?)

The park itself is on a penisula between the Potomac River and Chesapeake Bay, and opps for boating, fishing and camping make it a great spot to spend the day before (or after, if you survive) your paranormal tour. It was the location of a former confederate prison camp, we're just sayin'.

The Civil War Museum and Marshland Nature Center on-site should be very informative for all your prison camp questions... or concerns.

Email kim@easternparanormalresearch.com for paranormal tour reservations. For camping reservations, call 888-432-2267.

Scotland, Md., is located about two hours south of downtown D.C.
