It was the tequila that had everyone talking in the back room of Oyamel Monday night -- the same back room where the Obamas shared one of their first meals out on the town -- as the Mexican restaurant kicked off it's 3rd Annual Tequila & Mezcal Festival.
"It's all about celebration," said Team Spirits Imports President Clyde Davis Jr. holding a Oxacan Fizz, one of the festival's mezcal offerings.
"We'll be doing special tastings all week long so people can see that there are more ways to drink tequila than as a shot or in a margarita."
No word on whether Obama will return to the restaurant for a tequila tasting as others flock there for the festival this week, especially as Dr.'s orders have him laying off the liquor.
