Animal Instincts: Model Angling for Designer Duds at Humane Society Benefit

Tiffany Carter said last night she wants to sport designer duds when she struts her stuff down the runway at this year's Fashion for Paws benefit for the Washington Humane Society.

"This year I am raising $5,000, and I want a form flattering Nicole Miller dress," she said.

The blonde beauty, sipping on a "cherry Chihuahua" drink during the kick-off reception at the Teatro Goldoni Wednesday night , will be holding adopted coon hound, Kali, when she walks down the runway at Embassy of Italy on April 10 with the other fundraising models.

"Good friends and family helped me reach my fundraising goal last year, but this year, I want a little bit more," Carter said.

"Last year, I wore Wolford lilac fishnets down the runway and though they were cool, I didn't have much of a choice," she said, adding that only those who raise $5,000 or more are given the option to choose their designer.

An additional few thousand and this might be the year she gets to pamper her pup as well.

"I've always wanted to put a little tutu on Kali," she said.
