Wizards Select Otto Porter With Third Pick In NBA Draft

The Washington Wizards selected Georgetown forward Otto Porter, Jr. with the third pick in the 2013 NBA Draft.

In two seasons with the Hoyas, Porter averaged 12.8 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game, As a sophomore, he was Big East Player of the Year and earned first-team All-American honors. He led the Big East with a 48% field goal percentage.

Porter should jump directly into the Wizards' starting lineup, fortifying their young nucleus of John Wall and Bradley Beal.
