What's Inside Robert Griffin III's Locker?

As the Washington Redskins' training camp officially winds down Tuesday, reporters were granted access to the team's locker room for the first time this season.

Unfortunately, I was not in Ashburn to get a glimpse of what seems to be the talk of the day -- the contents of quarterback Robert Griffin III's locker -- but luckily for all of us, The Free Lance Star's Zac Boyer was there and he detailed what was inside RGIII's stall. You know, other than pads:

Motivation appears as if it won’t be a factor. A sign hangs at eye level in Griffin’s locker reminding him to focus.

“Forget about being MVP; Forget about being in the Pro Bowl. Those are nice consolation prizes if you don’t get a SUPER BOWL RING,” the sign reads.

Griffin has also decorated the locker with several action figures, including the Incredible Hulk, Spiderman and Captain America. Under each are a series of other phrases – “Be Amazing,” “Conquer Every Obstacle,” “Sacrifice,” “Army Strong” and “BU.” The last two allude to his military background and Baylor University.

Take the time to marvel at RGIII's locker. Comic book humor. I'm sorry, I had to.

Anyways, as Boyer says, motivation does not appear to be a problem for young Griffin. I just hope someone catches him playing with his action figures during his downtime.
