Robert Griffin III, Redskins Go Back to Work Against Bears

Last week, Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III lived up to expectations, leaving both the team and its fans satisfied and buoyed by hope. Saturday, RGIII will look to impress once more when Washington visits Chicago to face the Bears in the second preseason game for both teams.

Griffin took 14 snaps during last Thursday's 7-6 win over the Buffalo Bills, completing four of his six pass attempts for 70 yards, including a 20-yard touchdown. According to reports, head coach Mike Shanahan plans to play Griffin more Saturday as he is expected to lead the first-team offense for 30 to 35 plays, which should equate to the entire first half.

On the Chicago side, Jay Cutler will start for the Bears after sitting out of the team's first preseason game -- a 31-3 loss to the Denver Broncos -- after his fiancee, "actress" Kristin Cavallari, gave birth to the couple's first son. Brian Urlacher, however, will not play after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery earlier this week.

Once RGIII sits, Kirk Cousins will have a chance to play in front of his family; the rookie quarterback is from the area.

The game will be broadcast live on NBC4 at 8 p.m.
