Robert Griffin III Gave Baylor Basketball Team Pep Talk Before Win Over Kansas

Robert Griffin III was in his hometown of Copperas Cove, Tx., this weekend for the unveiling of "Robert Griffin III Boulevard," so while he was in the neighborhood, he decided to swing by his old stomping grounds at Baylor University.

RGIII was in attendance at the Bears' 81-58 upset over No. 4 Kansas (while wearing a ... unique jersey), but according to head coach Scott Drew, the Washington Redskins quarterback gave his alma mater a pep talk during Friday's practice.

He gets the credit for the pep talk on Friday in practice. He came in and shared what the Redskins talked about when they had their backs against the wall at 3-6. He's a hug basketball fan. He was a very good basketball player in high school. He was just phenomenal with our guys. If he ever retires from football, he can be a great coach.

Remember, this is the second time since December that RGIII has attended a basketball game where his "home team" won despite being a vast underdog. Once is an accident, twice is a trend. Just sayin'.
