Every year, EA Sports' annual "Madden NFL" release is one of the most sought-after video games.
This year's edition is no different, but Washington Redskins fans might be a little more excited than usual considering that they will be able to control Robert Griffin III in burgundy and gold for the first time.
That being said, EA Sports released their official ratings of every quarterback in the game Wednesday, and RGIII earned a respectable 83. Not bad for a rookie.
Only 20 quarterbacks have a higher overall rating than Griffin (who ranks higher than such notables as Tim Tebow, Mark Sanchez and Vince Young) and his 93 speed rating is the fastest among QBs in the entire game.
Meanwhile, RGIII's teammates -- Rex Grossman and Kirk Cousins -- were not too far behind. Grossman earned an overall rating of 75, while Cousins earned a 72.
