Red Hot Chili Peppers “Hope Capitals Win The Cup”

The Washington Capitals extended their 2012 season Wednesday in a 2-1 Game 6 victory over the New York Rangers at Verizon Center, forcing a decisive Game 7 Saturday at Madison Square Garden.

Thursday, the Caps lent Verizon Center to the Red Hot Chili Peppers, who, from what I hear, put on an amazing performance (last night and in general). At the end of the show, as tweeted by team senior writer Mike Vogel, the Peppers left the stage, but not before sharing their thoughts on the Stanley Cup Playoffs:

For those of you worried about the Chili Peppers saying that everywhere with a hockey team, never fear. They stop in Philadelphia Friday. You have nothing to worry about.
