Patriots Reportedly Tried Out Three Former Redskins Kickers Wednesday

It's not unusual for NFL teams to bring in players for tryouts during the season, but upon seeing the three kickers that the New England Patriots reportedly brought in Wednesday, something just seemed...off.

Where have I seen those names before? Oh, I remember now. All three have been cut by the Redskins within the last three months.

In case you need a refresher course, the Redskins brought in Rackers to challenge Gano for the starting position. On August 27, Washington cut Rackers, which seemingly gave the job to Gano, but the following day, Gano was Ga-gone when the team signed Cundiff.

Just over a month and a million missed kicks later, the 'Skins released Cundiff and signed Kai Forbath.

So what have we learned from all of this? The Patriots apparently don't realize how bad Redskins kickers can be.

But nobody tell them that. It'll be funny.
