In case you missed last night's game, the Washington Capitals did in fact defeat the New York Rangers 2-1 in Game 6 of the Eastern Confernece Semifinals, forcing a Game 7 at Madison Square Garden Saturday.
Now that you know that, will someone please inform the New York Post, because apparently they missed the memo.
If your eyes are as bad as mine, that sub-head says "Loss in Game 6 Sends D.C. home for summer." Except that didn't happen.
Also, according to the caption, Karl Alzner is Mike Knuble. So there's that.
First, the Rangers send out an email selling Eastern Conference Finals tickets. Now this.
We all know what happened the last time a newspaper made such an egregious error. If only Dale Hunter could pose with this Saturday...
