D.C.’s notorious traffic disrupted the Major League Baseball schedule on a day busy with an immigration reform rally and blooming cherry blossoms.
The Washington Nationals game against the Chicago White Sox started after a 16-minute delay caused by umpires getting caught in traffic getting to the ballpark.
The Nationals said the umpires' preparation for the game was delayed because of their late arrival at the ballpark.
The Nats went on to win 5-2.
