Yesterday, I discussed the comedic tragedy of Washington Wizards forward/center Andray Blatche not being in shape enough to play and being shut down indefinitely by head coach Randy Wittman (if that was not embarrassing enough, it was listed on the official report for Washington's 108-89 win over the New Jersey Nets).
Thanks to D.C. gym Balance Gym, things just got a little more tragic. And a lot more comical.
The gym, which has three locations in Dupont Circle, Georgetown and Logan Circle (the endorsement check is in the mail), tweeted at Blatche Tuesday and offered its assistance in getting him back into game shape:
@drayblatche Balance Gym heard you need to get in shape! Give us a shout! We're in DC! @balancegym #crossfit — Balance Gym DC(@balancegym) March 20, 2012
Every little bit helps, right? Unfortunately for Blatche, Balance Gym closes at 10 p.m. on weekdays and 7 p.m. on weekends, so he will have to get in his 3 a.m. workouts elsewhere.
