During the 11th inning of the Nationals' 3-2 loss to the Diamondbacks Thursday, a light tower above right field caught on fire due to a "minor technical malfunction."
"All those in the vicinity were immediately evacuated and our facilities team is currently looking into what may have caused the problem," the team said in a statement.
Sections 224, 226 and 228 were evacuated by ushers and no injuries were reported.
