Nick Young and JaVale McGee spent the lockout having a little fun and recording videos of themselves being Nick and JaVale. Unfortunately coach Flip Saunders plans to put a stop to such nonsense when the season starts.
"The cinnamon thing doesn't cut it," Saunders told the media at practice last week.
It's bad news for fans who have enjoyed the Nick and JaVale show teasers, but good news for those who want to see these two take things a little more seriously now that there are games to play.
Perhaps hearing the message, JaVale posted a new video of his Thanksgiving turkey drive in San Bernadino, Calif. All 300 turkeys given out were purchased by JaVale himself.
We like silly JaVale, but its good to see some balance.
