Bryce Harper Third in “Final Vote” for All-Star Game

The Washington Nationals already have three confirmed representatives on the National League All-Star team -- Stephen Strasburg, Gio Gonzalez and Ian Desmond -- but they could get one more. That is, if the votes pick up.

Bryce Harper is one of five choices on the NL's "Final Vote" ballot and early returns have him right in the middle in third place. Atlanta's Chipper Jones is in first, followed by St. Louis' David Freese.

Voting continues until 4 p.m. Thursday, so Nats fans, get Harper to the game.

Side note: Wouldn't it be sort of funny if Jones beat Harper by one vote and that vote was the one Harper said he would give Jones? Maybe a little.
