Even on his rare days off, Washington Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper always seems to find a way to stay in the public eye.
On his first-ever major-league day off, he crashed a softball game on the National Mall. Earlier this summer, he hosted a day camp where he told local kids to "be sexy as you can." Even when he was given a break during a game day, Harper still found a way to get involved. Kid's got energy for days (off).
So it should come as no surprise to that Harper spent his Monday D.C. Chillin' with local rapper Wale. See what I did there?
Just spent the day with one of DC's finest! Thank you @wale for all the hospitality! #shoe-king #talentedsay.ly/QxK4bXd — Bryce Harper (@Bharper3407) September 18, 2012
Kicked it wit the homie @bharper3407 today .. Talked sneaks, Nats, hiphop , rg3 .. And my pitching skills! Ha — Wale Folarin(@Wale) September 18, 2012
As seen in the photo above, the two stopped at Ben's Chili Bowl, which is always a good decision (though they apparently cut the line, which can be quite long sometimes).
So, Wale, now that you and Bryce are "homies," how about that name drop?
