Bryce Harper Has a Cannon for an Arm

Bryce Harper made his home debut at Nationals Park Tuesday in the Washington Nationals' 5-1 loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks, going 0-for-3 with two groundouts and a strikeout.

It was definitely not the start at the plate he was looking for, but his most impressive play of the evening was an absolute laser of a throw from the outfield that John McDonald barely beat home.

Yes, that is a 300-foot throw from deep left field that did not bounce on its way to home plate.

This is Washington, D.C., after all, so Harper is definitely a proponent of the Second Amendment: the right to bear wicked arms. Or something like that.
