Audi Field Has Opened: What to Know Before You Go

The wait is over for D.C. United fans looking for a place to properly rock the black and red. Audi Field cut the ribbon on Monday before its inaugural match on Saturday. Here’s what you need to know about the new stadium in the Southwest Waterfront neighborhood.

Where is the stadium?

The stadium is located in 100 Potomac Ave. SW in the Buzzard Point neighborhood. The nearest Metro stop is the Navy Yard Metro Station on the Green Line.

Where can visitors park?

Visitors can park their cars at the 6,500 available parking spots nearby. Visitors with bikes can either park in the southwest corner of the stadium or will be provided with bike valet service on match days.

How big is the stadium?

Audi Field is 115 by 75 yards and can fit 20,000 people, according to the website.

What can fans expect from the new stadium?

The new stadium holds 2,000 premium seats for fans with field-level and club-level membership, 31 luxury suites and a 10,000 square foot indoor lounge among other fan experiences.

It can also be converted into a concert venue that can hold thousands of people.
