NYFW: Libertine Rocks It at Milk Studios

Last night, Libertine creative director Johnson Hartig presented his 2012 fall/winter collection at Milk Studios, taking classic styles and adding metallic paillettes and graphic detail to bring us the ultimate statement outerwear.

A statement was made indeed with shining pailletes over plaids, strategically placed to form images and patterns, metallic embellishments on houndstooth coats, skull and bones detail on capes and varsity jackets, and graphics tees… graphic tees are back.

Rock and roll juxtaposed classic sophistication in this collection--It was fun and youthful with a little edge. Best of all, the models rocked it off the stage in their final runway walk.

No looks were missed at this show with the MADE fashion week app. As the music started (which activated the app), show goers were able to view each look on their iPhones as the models walked by, take notes on each look, then email it to themselves after the show. Fashion meets technology--and hey, it makes our lives much easier. Bravo!
