Tornado Watch Issued for Parts of Maryland, Virginia

STERLING, Va. -- The National Weather Service issued a tornado watch for parts of the D.C. area Wednesday night.

The watch -- effective until 4 a.m. -- includes Calvert and St. Mary's counties in Maryland and King George and Spotsylvania County in Virginia.
