Rain remains in the forecast for early Monday, but hang in there -- the sun is on the way.

You can expect a major warmup this Memorial Day, with temperatures rising into the mid 80s.

We can still expect a little sprinkle of rain Monday morning, with the chance of a little more in late afternoon. Nonetheless, Monday will offer the best chance you've had all Memorial Day weekend to hit the pool.

Just remember the sunscreen, because even on a cloudy day, you can get burned!

If you're at Rehoboth Beach or Ocean City, remember: The water temperature is just about 62 degrees, so you might just want to dunk in your toes instead.

A drier weather pattern will arrive for the middle and later parts of next week, with temperatures close to average for the beginning of June.

We should have highs around the low 80s over the next few days.
