Rain Could Turn to Snow Thursday

Accumulation not likely

More rain is expected Thursday, and in some areas, that rain could turn to snow.

Wednesday’s rainy weather should clear out overnight, but more rain is expected Thursday afternoon.

West of D.C., that rain could become wet snow in Loudoun County, Front Royal, Winchester, Frederick County and possibly parts of Montgomery County, Storm4 meteorologist Doug Kammerer said. With colder air moving in to the area, maybe an hour or so of flakes is possible in those areas.

Accumulation is not likely.
