More Rain on the Way This Week

The D.C. area is expected to get a reprieve from the rain Sunday and Monday -- but it may return later in the week.

Storm Team4 is expecting rain Tuesday, Wednesday and possibly Saturday.

A blustery northwest wind will bring cool, sunny weather Sunday, with highs in the low 60s. Wind gusts as high as 35 mph are possible Sunday afternoon. It's expected to be clear and chilly tonight, with lows in the 40s Sunday night and Monday morning.

The temperature is expected to climb into the 60s by Monday afternoon. A high of 66 and low of 44 are in the forecast Monday.

Then, there's a 70 percent chance of rain Tuesday. We're looking at a high of 58 and low of 52.

There's a 50 percent chance of rain Wednesday, with a high of 68 and low of 50.

We'll likely see some sun Thursday and Friday, with highs in the upper 60s and low 70s and lows in the low 50s.

Then, there's a chance of rain Saturday, with a high of 68 and low of 58.
