Dreary Drizzle, Rain to Clear by Tuesday

Drizzle and light rain dominated the day on Sunday with temperatures staying in the 50s throughout.

Storm Team4's Tom Kierein said there is a chance of light rain showers on Monday in the D.C. area before the rain finally clears out for warmer temperatures.

The Monday rain is only expected to be a passing shower with temperatures near 70. By Wednesday, the sunshine will be in full effect, creating temps in the 80s.

Memorial Day weekend will have temperatures heading closer to 90, but increasing humidity will also bring the chance of an afternoon thunderstorm.
