Friday's Beautiful — But This Weekend Will Be a Washout

Thursday and Friday have provided us with the spring weather we've been longing for throughout this often cool, dreary and gloomy month.

But there's bad news on the horizon. (Are you surprised?) These sunny days are not going to stretch into the weekend, which instead is plagued with rain chances.

On Saturday, temperatures will only be in the 50s, with heavy rain at times, particularly in the morning. Later, the rain will taper back to light but frequent showers in the evening.

Sunday, the rain will return mostly in the afternoon and evening, with a high in the mid to upper 60s.

We're certainly no stranger to rain this season: 22 of the past 30 days have had at least some rain. And although the average high this time of year is a balmy 77 degrees, we've had just a single 80-degree day in that time period, back on April 26.
