The local National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning for parts of our area including Washington, Frederick and Carroll counties in Maryland.
The warning will be in effect from 3 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Friday and again late Friday night through Saturday morning.
Temperatures are expected to drop into the lower 30s.
Vegetation sensitive to freezing temperatures should be taken in doors to avoid damage.
